  1. I stepped outside about the same time to get my 12 in and quickly figured out that I wasn’t going to risk falling on all the black ice. I’ll just run this afternoon. Wasn’t really expecting that. .
  2. No. I’m a far less important Adam [emoji38] .
  3. Nice snowy finish. Should make the roads even more fun. .
  4. Decent slug of freezing rain and 30 degrees on the Auburn/Worcester line. We went from a 2 hour delay to closed around 8 AM, and it was the right call (my students had no idea a delay might be in the cards until I mentioned it yesterday). .
  5. 1.5” of powder here in Auburn. Son went to WaWa earlier tonight with my Father in-Law and mentioned how nobody could drive correctly[emoji38] .
  6. I’m definitely curious as to what Tuesday’s high will be at ORH. If I’m not mistaken, 96 is the highest temp at the airport since that 99 degree high in 1953? .
  7. Closing in on 4” on the grassy surfaces in Auburn. Everything is covered—-let’s see if the DPW comes by. .
  8. Maybe it’s your soleus muscle? I had a tear in my Achilles (partial) from basketball almost 20 years ago but I could still bear weight (I couldn’t push off however). I had a really ugly black and blue area the next day from around the sides of the foot up the back, so if you have that tomorrow, that’s a bad sign. Good luck! .
  9. We can’t be all that far away from all-time high DPs, right? Any ideas as to what those are at the main reporting sites? .
  10. It’s 4.7%. Real easy drinking session. There’s a grapefruit version too. .
  11. Phone enhanced, but cool nonetheless.. .

  13. I'm nominating this for the title of the November thread...
  14. Weather could be much worse than what it should be tomorrow (low-mid 50s and cloudy with maybe a shower and the annoying wind from the ESE)! ‘18 for me was such a ridiculous run that tomorrow shouldn’t be a big deal. Enjoy it, and good luck! I might even see you out there, though I wouldn’t know who you are [emoji23]. .
  15. Good, because I need to be outside on the 17th for a few hours and don’t need 80s to accompany my trip from Hopkinton.
  16. Flipped over to the Midwest part of the site and someone posted a link to one of the Little Rock TV stations. It’s not good when they are doing their weather updates and you can hear sirens in the background. https://www.thv11.com/video/news/live_breaking/tornado-coverage-with-tom-brannon-nathan-scott/91-534cfb90-200a-4ceb-9287-357b7c328474
  17. 37 F and rain in Auburn. No idea what is going to happen here.
  18. Is there some sort of index correlating George’s post to weenie ratio, kind of like the Waffle House index? If not, there should be!
  19. Meanwhile, Boston and Worcester are already closed for tomorrow (Worcester isn’t announced yet, but I know people…).
