  2. I'm nominating this for the title of the November thread...
  3. Weather could be much worse than what it should be tomorrow (low-mid 50s and cloudy with maybe a shower and the annoying wind from the ESE)! ‘18 for me was such a ridiculous run that tomorrow shouldn’t be a big deal. Enjoy it, and good luck! I might even see you out there, though I wouldn’t know who you are [emoji23]. .
  4. Good, because I need to be outside on the 17th for a few hours and don’t need 80s to accompany my trip from Hopkinton.
  5. Flipped over to the Midwest part of the site and someone posted a link to one of the Little Rock TV stations. It’s not good when they are doing their weather updates and you can hear sirens in the background. https://www.thv11.com/video/news/live_breaking/tornado-coverage-with-tom-brannon-nathan-scott/91-534cfb90-200a-4ceb-9287-357b7c328474
  6. 37 F and rain in Auburn. No idea what is going to happen here.
  7. Is there some sort of index correlating George’s post to weenie ratio, kind of like the Waffle House index? If not, there should be!
  8. Meanwhile, Boston and Worcester are already closed for tomorrow (Worcester isn’t announced yet, but I know people…).
  9. Just watched an idiot on a webcam in Fort Myers climb around a closed pier gate. Darwin Award winner? www.piersidegrill.com
  10. 1.14” here in Auburn over the last 20 minutes. Managed to lose power before any rain or wind had started. Gotta love infrastructure!
  11. Got a call from my brother who works for the DOT just over the MA/NY line. Pretty significant accretion over there.
  12. @Damage In Tolland I’ll try to post more often but at this point I’m good only with running and IPAs! I’m a math teacher now, so you can imagine the questions I get when the students find out I have a Meteorology degree!
  13. Adding in the obligatory professional lurker beer pic:
  14. Wondering if my parents on the NY/MA border or my house in ORH will get more effects from this the way trends are heading.
  15. Same in Auburn now as well (600 ft elevation). Still have 40 degrees here, but this might get interesting.
  16. Not sure if this should have been posted in banter, but thought it was a good camera out of Bermuda. https://www.earthcam.com/world/bermuda/pembroke/?cam=bermuda
  17. Same thing up here in the Worcester area (the sun is trying its best). Nothing like another Orlando morning this summer!
  18. Sitting at 7.5” here on the Auburn/Worcester line.
  19. 17 and sleet here in Auburn. Have about 6” of snow/sleet mix on the ground.
  20. Keep driving...Great Barrington and Columbia County, NY area are magnets for this setup I would say.
  21. Looks like ALB just put up the TOR watch.
