The Mount Washington Avalanche Center in Gorham has issued a BACKCOUNTRY AVALANCHE WARNING for the following areas: NWS Gray ME - NHZ002 (Coos County) * WHAT...A significant winter storm bringing 10 - 20+ inches of snow will create very dangerous avalanche conditions today, March 23, 2024 through Sunday, March 24, 2024. Steep slopes; including but not limited to: Tuckerman Ravine, Huntington Ravine, Gulf of Slides, Great Gulf, and Ammonoosuc Ravine are areas where dangerous and destructive avalanches are likely. These avalanches may be large enough to bury multiple people, do significant damage to trees or buildings and will likely run far down in paths or to areas that are normally considered safe zones. AVOIDING ALL AVALANCHE TERRAIN IS ADVISED.

17 and sleet here in Auburn. Have about 6” of snow/sleet mix on the ground.

Keep driving...Great Barrington and Columbia County, NY area are magnets for this setup I would say.
