  1. Come on people! We've been waiting for nice clipper pattern on top of a deep snow pack for years and everyone is saying they are done with Winter. No perseverance in this new generation of
  2. 13" officially at Toledo Express Airport. After compaction though, I only measured about 10" as the first 5" of concrete compacted down to 2" under it's own weight. Normally this would be a win, but after what was forecasted and watching the rare overlapping phenomenon slip through my fingers, I was disappointed. My kids are in heaven though, so basically I'm an old
  3. Yeah, this thing definitely did better than thought on the NW side. Here in Toledo we are at 8" and it's still snowing. Will probably grind out another inch.
  4. Oh we are here in Toledo, but a quarter inch of snow an hour is nothing to write home about. Thanks for thinking of us "in betweeners" though.
  5. Toledo just hit 2" after snowing on and off since 1pm today.
  6. Fella's, I"m down in Toledo and it's been snowing for 4 hours now(33 degrees) and have about a half inch of concrete with probably a 3:1 ratio. This is hell. This thing will need to turn around real quick for me to consider this anything.
  7. So you still think NW Ohio has a shot at 12-14"? Thanks for the reply.
  8. It was very painful in Toledo watching it try to switch for four hours. The front must of have been traveling at 10mph.... Finally switched over and hoping we can still get to a foot. That's my threshold for this not to go to shit.
  9. Pulling teeth here in Toledo. This is the part I hate the most....Waiting for the snow to transition.

  11. Asking about the change over here in NW Ohio. Would it be better to follow the HRRR or the Nam for timing??
  12. Phasing of jets and left exit region stuff that get this thing amped vs. what you'd typically see with that SLP pos
  13. What's typically more accurate at this range, HRRR or Nam?
  14. Me either, lol. Literally feel like a kid. Gonna pass out by the time the snow starts to fall.
  15. Toledo Mets are ALL IN on this being Historic. They're all pretty conservative so this is a Big Deal. Now I need to decide what type of beer to get!
  16. Crazy thing is, we gotta do this for a another day! Not sure if my heart can handle this. I have never been in this position before so yes....I'm holding my breath.
  17. Can't recall see a IWX Watch worded like that. Curious if we'll see our first Blizzard Watches in a over a decade...
  18. Toledo's got some great Mets. I taught some of them.
  19. Pretty sure those were both much more dynamic systems with regards to their Surface Pressures. This is a different setup.
  20. Appears so. That is amazing to see that consensus. Is it just me?? Thanks Snowfreak
  21. I don't think the 12Z GFS and Euro could be any more on top of each other if they tried. Weird to see that alignment at this distance.
  22. What plays into an operational run that can make it so different than it's ensemble's mean?? Always appreciate the vast amount of knowledge on this board, and the willingness to share and educate.
  23. If the GFS is the Northern Outlier, and the Euro is the southern outlier, then I'll take the middle for $500 Alec!!
