  1. NW side has improving outflow and definitely looks like a decent sized eye trying to pop on the vis: https://www.tropicaltidbits.com/sat/satlooper.php?region=08L&product=vis
  2. https://www.tropicaltidbits.com/sat/satlooper.php?region=08L&product=vis You can see a decent sized eye trying to clear just a bit on the vis. Outflow is improving on the NW side as well.
  3. At this point northern NJ, NYC, western LI would see a rainy/breezy day. The real action would perhaps be along and east of the William Floyd Parkway in terms of wind.
  4. If you are looking for wind you have to be along and right of the center of course. As the system becomes extratropical, the wind field will expand even as the max sustained winds decrease.
  5. I am not sure this one is going to be chase worthy but good luck.
  6. I am not too impressed in Raleigh. Crabtree is rising but nowhere close to flood.
  7. It has been very unimpressive as of now. Not super high rain rates either. Calling this a TS is very generous.
  8. There is no way this is a hurricane still.
  9. LOL yeah I remember Don fizzled in like two advisories in South Texas years ago.
  10. Agreed. Not sure if it will get Crabtree going but we shall see.
  11. The latest runs are bringing it back in our direction but yeah we shall see.
  12. The east side of the storm, which is what you will be in.
  13. If you are chasing try one of these two cells:
  14. That had a nice hook as it came off the lake!
  15. It is the CAD wedge we needed in January LOL.
  16. Got to love the warmer half of the year ;). Anyway it is snowing today in the NC mountains and 47F in Raleigh NC midday which is very cold here for May.
  17. LOL you have about a 10% chance of it being clear in VT at that time.
  18. That is impressive. I only wish it was shot in landscape. The amount of lightning is insane.
  19. They didn't hit a solid environment until reaching the Coastal Plain.
  20. Got a wall cloud on the lead cell this afternoon near Dortches NC
  21. I caught the developing meso outside of Apex of what became that supercell over Raleigh:
  22. Proximity to the radar is also why the CC hole doesn't look as well defined.
  23. It has been on the ground for over 60 miles and counting going by the CC drop.
  24. yeah it is in a radar hole. The circulation is very intense.
