    Meanwhile I shot these on Christmas Day last year in Banner Elk. We drove up there for a white Christmas since we couldn't see family.

    I don't want to post his photos without permission but if you look up Dan Whittaker on Facebook you will find shots he got last night. The fire made it to the knob/summit area and is now in excess of 300 acres and growing.

    Not what thread to put this in but Pilot Mountain is in the midst of a 250 acre and growing wildfire.

    Yeah that should do it for RDU's frost/freeze program this fall. RDU got down to 29F for a low.

    I always loved those November snow squalls. We are in full foliage season now here. Colors in my area are the best in a few years.
