    A little odd of there being nothing for the border & NW counties. Even if Chicago were a “bullseye”, there seems to be enough snow potential for at least a winter weather advisory.

    Ensemble #13 is pretty ridiculous with the 3+ feet of snow in downtown Chicago within only 18 hours. Imagine getting feet of concrete snow.

    Just had a couple power surges here in Poplar Grove. Hopefully that’s not my whole day here.

    Ice accumulation would/will suck. I guess this is the time we hope for “SE & weaker” trends as we get closer.

    Snow commenced in Poplar Grove about 15 minutes ago. Road in my subdivision already covered. Usually very light traffic on my way to work, but expecting crappy conditions on my drive later this afternoon.

    Been a pretty steady snow here since about 10am. The only negative about this happening today is we have to travel a little bit for a surprise birthday dinner. But otherwise, let it snow!

    Nothing like mixed precip all the way into the southern portion of Boone county. Verbatim, I’m just barely in the snow on that run.

    Chicago has had to become dependent on Feb-Apr for 95% of their seasonal totals recently. Best climo. Jealous?

    Looks like the trend will need to be the same yet again where February/March are the golden winter months for N/NE IL in terms of snowfall.
