    How about I bring down to the shore and you wire it! I’ll post pics of the tank setup. Basically three 20 gallon tanks, one HLT, mash tun, and boil kettle. HLT controls mash temp.

    Yep. PID's for the hot liquor tank and mash tun. Don't ask me anything technical. I'm just following instructions.

    I’ve finally got around to working on the control panel for the new electric brewery here at the house. Still a long way to go but making progress.

    I wonder what we’d have to sacrifice to get the kind of extreme cold and duration here next winter that compares to the heat in the west this summer?

    A trace here earlier, and now I’m pinning my hopes on the storm entering MD from my northwest via route 140.

    Triumph apparently has a cantaloupe profile. Good stuff for my breakfast !

    Spending the morning canning this stuff. It’s a nice DIPA. I don’t think I’ve ever had Triumph hops before.

    Still overcast here but maybe some of it is smoke? It’s a different look than “cloudy.”

    I’m glad that you mentioned it because it seemed like suddenly the days were getting way shorter, but the gray pall must be smoke.

    How’s crabbing? I haven’t been out and looks like it won’t happen until September for me.

    As fast as things are changing, maybe wx data should be calculated using shorter intervals. I’d be interested in seeing a long and short interval map, but probably a topic for a different thread.

    I just went out and checked the rain gauge in the garden and has elated to see .94” in the funnel. Saw some cucumbers swelling too.

    That sucks. Everything after this line is gravy for me so I hope everyone gets to cash in this afternoon and evening.

    Eyeballing the rain gauge, I’m around .70” and climbing.

    We have different definitions for fun. The one advantage I see for today is that once a storm forms, I don’t see it dying on the doorstep. In other words, whoever gets in the cross hairs of training storms is going to dumped on.

    If I don’t get at least a half inch of rain this evening, I’m turning on my sprinklers until I empty the nearby reservoir.

    It has been dry here too with under 1.5” for the month. An inch of that came on the 1st.
