Yes, winds are tough to come by here inland in SNE. Need a near perfect set up for that to happen for most outside of the coast. Some rain, some breezy conditions inland, that will most likely be the worst for most. Cape and islands might be a different story if Euro holds serve...but big IF??

Might have wanted to wait a couple days to start this imo....by tomorrow or Tuesday this may look completely different, and not be even a remote issue. Let’s see if the Euro shows something similar at 2 am???

Yes sir, I love snow too...almost anytime. But if I could have it my way..I would hold the snow off till November too..but once November is here it can come anytime.

Excellent post Herb...and that has been my point, and the All cold crews point from the beginning, and our only point. But some how it always gets twisted, and made to look like denial or ignorance by some. Great summary of what has really transpired with this debate....and not a twisted and skewed view of the facts.

Last minute change...yesterday at 6:00 pm Ryan mentioned that there was some low level clouds down around Jersey....and he said he was afraid they were going to drift north...and plague us today; especially western and central areas. Looks to be the case unfortunately.

75 miles to the northeast of you where I am it’s 12 degrees colder. You’re definitely in a warm area of CT there In Greenwich!! Big difference there compared to a lot of areas.

This first week of October has not been all that hot imo. Overnight lows skewing the AN look imo. We’ve had a lot of warm October’s of late Freak, (and no I don’t have dates and temps..but October’s have been very warm lately), and this October is not all that impressively warm so far imo. AN sure, but I’m not feeling it’s extraordinary so far. As I said to Snowman, it’s all good, you can think it’s extraordinary if you want. But I live here, and most folks that live here would not say the first 6 days of October have been hot. Maybe next week goes 83-86 for 3 or 4 days...but I’ll take the under on that at this point, just as I did for this week.

Again as was said...most of that is overnight low driven...if you think October so far has been a furnace...well you’re entitled to your opinion for sure....but I’m not impressed with the heat of October so far. Today high was BN(just gorgeous though). Tomorrow’s high will be too...a couple days highs early this week we’re too. Tonight will be BN Too. But to each their own. You make a valid point. It’s all good Snowman.
