    Not usually, but I’m still skeptical. I’ll gladly admit it if my hunch is wrong. I’ll be watching over the next couple days…nothing else left to watch now anyway.

    They usually fall short…so I’ll take the under. But maybe this time it happens? Would be fun.

    I measured 3.25”, that brings my total on the year to 34”. Substantially(14-15”) below normal, considering this is the last accumulating snow for the season.

    Temp down to 31 now. Starting to accumulate very nicely now. Can we pick up a few more as we head toward evening?

    Update from CT…1” of accumulation, snowing steadily. 31.75” on the season. Temp 32.

    Nah…it’s been snow here from the very start, and I’m not at 500 feet, definitely we’ll inland, but we covered and it’s coming down nice with good snowgrowth.

    Amazing how just 20 miles north of you here it’s all white and pavement starting to cave now too. Wintry scene for sure at least. .

    Good snow here…high end moderate. Accumulating on everything except roads, but sidewalks are starting to coat up. If we can keep up this intensity it’ll overtake most surfaces shortly.

    Snowing very nicely here…looks beautiful. I’ll enjoy it today, and then put this horrid winter(for most in SNE) to bed, and say farewell.

    Just got the word…half day here too now.

    Ya last year was about an average season..but a couple big ones though, and the super bowl day system last year was fun too. Couldn’t complain last year.

    Very strange…it was pretty bad. But maybe next season is better? We hope.

    He’s young and hopeful….he can’t see the end when it’s right in front of him. He’ll wise up in time lol.

    Hence my earlier post…never any consistency this season. Absolutely horrid model performance as we close in on a system, even the day of it’s all over the place. Is this the new modeling that’s gonna be with us from now on? What a shame.

    Honestly this season…when hasn’t there been model jumpiness? That to me has been one of the big themes this season on every single winter event. Nothing ever seems to hold any one basic scenario as we close in? It’s colder, then it’s warmer, then it’s drier, then it’s wetter…etc etc… jumping all over the place.

    Yup.

    It was getting half way decent out this way though…and wouldn’t have taken much to be something quite good. But that’s the story of this whole winter…it just can’t put it all together to deliver anything…for most.

    Yup. It ain’t the old Euro…not even close, it’ll cave, we can count on that. Rain for Saturday for sure. Too bad. We close it out and look forward to winter 22-23 now. Hope it’s better than this shitbox was?

    I’m always skeptical on big winds…like Hanrahan said, gotta watch it, we’ll see what it looks like on Friday, but I’ll take the under as of now.
