Good luck to you too over there. You always need things timed right lol..even in great patterns, we’ve seen that all winter and with this event ongoing now, I mean places to our southwest are killing it with 12+. I’m just tired of the winter over posts on Feb 19th. It’s silly and nonsensical. This is not late FEB/March of ‘12. And if it happens to be that’s fine too, but it’s not.

It’s incredibly irritating all the time...if one run of the ensembles looks quiet or mild or cutterish or whatever, then it’s all over. Then the next run comes out and then it’s oh we’ll have some chances lol. Of course we’ll have our chances...it’s February 19th.

Ya, I love the big Bi-polar nature of some here. Winter isn’t over for SNE on Feb 18th or 19th. Not this year. The rush to end things is annoying all the time. Another solid month of winter in SNE. If we lived in Richmond VA, then ya it’s close to being over there perhaps. But not here.

Yup..it’s cold and snowy out there this evening...very wintry vibe out there. Snow is fine and dense as you stated. About 2 inches so far from this system. Brings me to 47” for the season to date..about another inch or two to reach normal for a winter season here. Should be able to pull that off after this system ends.

Agreed. A couple weeks ago it was supposed to be over now. Last week it was supposed to be over next week. Most times I don’t even read his novels anymore after the first sentence or two, cuz you know where it’s going to ramble to.

No dim sum here..it was actually partly sunny 40 min ago, but got dark fast here again. I’ll gladly take 3-5” on top of the solid pack still in place here.

Same discrepancy with every system this winter it seems...two camps right up to go time almost it seems. Quite the year for modeling differences so close in.

Lol...he’s banking on the Euro I guess. NWS latest map is 6-8 with pockets of 8-12. If that’s a snooze fest, I’m a lil baffled?

Always better to go more conservative early on, and then increase if need be, if the modeling becomes more robust as the system closes in.

Well just like this morning...someone showing an op run at 342hrs., is worthless. I know folks showed the same thing a day ago for winter being over...which was super dumb too. All speculation. More winter to come period.

We’ve been saying it should be more Nina like all winter ...hasn’t happened yet. Second half of February yet to go...buckle up.

Where’s spring lol...11-15 days away? Ok cool. That too will change in a few days. So I take with a grain of salt. After next weeks mess, we’ll be ready for spring.
