  1. 0.65" here so far in NW DC. It helps, but we are still WAY short on the month and year.
  2. SERCC is Southeast Regional Climate Center - maybe they were trying to refer to that?
  3. Low of 42 even here in the city. Chilly
  4. mid 70s here, at least 5F higher than forecast
  5. Sunny and warm here - no rain. rinse / repeat
  6. mid 90s from NYC-area through central CT today. Insane.
  7. i'm sure he knows everyone here hates him.
  8. gotta be near zero right? at least for the urban corridors
  9. so when are we doing the parade? I say we start in Potomac right by that jack ass's house (which is for sale).
  10. Exactly - by late summer we're banking on tropical systems, which might be an issue this year.
  11. we are nearing full leaf-out in NW DC in the 2nd week of April wtf
  12. oh i'm not complaining - but the drought outlook is a bit worrying.
  13. yeah the outlook ain't great
  14. Dulles is definitely starting to develop some sort of UHI as that area continues to grow. The freeze warning was def a bit excessive for the more urban locations in and around DC - DCA only got down to 41 which was also my low in Tenleytown.
  15. You hear the same thing in the NY area, with people way out in the burbs complaining that KNYC is too warm - it's the station for New York City, not your town.
  16. I am about 5-6 miles away from DCA and my low was 37 (so 3F cooler than DCA - which is about right). DCA is meant to represent the urban area of DC + Arlington/Alexandria.
  17. Getting a T in April to cap off one of the most pathetic winters in recorded history for DC would just be perfect. A day after we were pushing 90F...
  18. possible explanation from CWG:
  19. DCA reported IP at 11:25am with a temp of 53F. lol
  20. lol - NYC finally got into the fun (upper 70s) but Boston is stuck in the low-mid 40s. No thanks.
  21. 79/61 here - low of 66.7F - elevation helps little lol. We are close enough to more built up areas around Wisconsin Ave that the heat island persists here pretty strongly.
