  1. yeah that was a wild one. We lived on the top floor of a downtown apt building, and man you could hear it once the wind really picked up. The next day they closed the pedestrian bridge connecting the Tysons Corner silver line station and the plaza by the mall and office buildings.
  2. had some brief flakes or frozen precip of some kind in NW DC into Bethesda, but obviously nothing really of note.
  3. Feel like we need to start talking about drought. I'm only at like 4.5" of precip since Jan 1.
  4. there are prob 3 cities in the country that see our traffic and are like, yeah that's ok. ATL is one of them.
  5. embrace it man - it also means places like the Sierras get like 12ft in one weekend. We just have to go to those places.
  6. Yeah May 2020 was nuts - if you recall there was a day where we barely got into the low 50s in the city (and colder outside) with sunny skies.
  7. Felt like i heard some sleet in Tenley - pretty miserable 39.7F rn
  8. lol - just want to point out that the Tucson photo is some ugly sprawl while Philly is a gorgeous skyline photo and DC is the Jefferson Memorial. Enjoy your snow tho!
  9. sorry brooklyn I should've posted a pic of the R train - but the enthusiasm is the same lol
  10. preferably when the "hour" number on the map is in double digits.
  11. yeah i feel like we would get lucky at least once with a super niño
  12. That sounds like a problem and tbh is pretty disturbing if that is really what is happening here.
  13. 46F for Jan + Feb is insane - that's basically a normal Jan & Feb for Atlanta, GA.
  14. if we really do flip to a Niño, we might just do it. We are due for a brutal summer.
  15. 64/41 for this final day of February at DCA, another double-digit (+10) day relative to average. A day more typical of early April.
  16. low-mid 60s - just absolutely amazing out rn.
  17. Fred La Marmotte died on Feb 2 in Quebec this year - should've been a big ol' red flag.
  18. I thought DCA just got its first sub 40F day of the year, but it looks like we hit 40 just after midnight last night, so-- nope. It also didn't get below freezing. Remarkable.
  19. This is about what it looked like in Tenleytown. Was nice while it was falling lol.
