On the stadium, Mendelson and Bowser HATE each other, but honestly Mendo got a much better deal out of the Commanders. I've had my issues with him, but given the timeframe they were given, he did a good job here.
I am generally against NFL (or other big) stadiums in an urban setting - but this has to be an exception. First, there is already a stadium there, so it's not like you are displacing a bunch of people to build it. Second, the access is WAY better than Fedex/Northwest Stadium. You'll have Metro right there, a ton of bus routes, a highway. They are gonna build housing, stuff for DC youth, etc. All in all, it's a good deal. And Harris and Co actually believe in and want to support DC, unlike that POS Snyder. We know that because they were very open to working with Mendo about making the deal better for DC. Snyder would've told them to take a hike.
