DCA has prob hit 97 now.

yeah the fact that the trees are taking a hit is really bad.

wind shifted and DCA is hanging out around 81/82 now - but the dewpoint has jumped into the mid 70s.

80+F min watch at DCA this week with no t-storms in the forecast. 89F at the 9pm hour.

93/94 here in Tenleytown - but our dewpoint has been around 70 all afternoon.

so far the lower dews + higher air temps scenario seems to be playing out - we'll see if that continues.

DCA 96/97. Man - this heat is legit.

the dry ground to the west of IAD really has to be playing a role here.

the only monthly record that looks safe-ish is DCA's 104 - but you never know.

34 at Canaan - honestly a bit warmer than I would've thought. They've already gotten into the upper 20s this season lol.

Now I remember - I think Oct 2018 set a record number of 70+ lows in October.

Yeah - that was the case with Hugo when it passed over Charlotte. The damage was extensive.

lol - right on time. No extreme heat, but just endless warmth around here.

Even in relatively tame summers we have no problem hitting upper 70s dews these days.
