  1. Well since the first week of January...yes. But counting that, 1 for 5 for my yard (I think the 6th/7th was my heaviest at 4.5 inches--and that was a lot of fun!). You could argue 2 for 5 by Jan 2/3rd kinda fringed me with 2" but still looked nice. But the last three storms: 1 got yanked inland (but got about 2") last weekend couldn't phase at all, and then ya got this weekend's mess. But I think what's worn on me is not having a deep, 6"+ snow for six years. Actually, the night Jan 6/7th was the heaviest snow I'd seen in a long time. I'm just wanting to get our big hit...getting one after 6 years doesn't seem like an unreasonable desire.
  2. Frickin. HILARIOUS! Needed that laugh for the upcoming miss...unless we get more people to pull the rope, lol
  3. Ohhh I wish that trick actually worked for this. We've gone frickin' 0 for 3...we need to get something (I know I need that) But this is still a nina...so who knows
  4. I mean...at least the storm is still kinda there. Just suppressed this time...I'm okay for now as long as the idea is there
  5. Alright folks let's track that cutter first...I'm guessing we want that thing to be as juiced as possible!!
  6. Oh wow seriously? All 2'+ of that wasn't a bomb but a boatload of moisture like that? Amazing!
  7. And I do wonder if we can already start paying attention to next week's cutter since we're under 7 days. That would be the first piece of the puzzle right there...
  8. True...lol And Berk does have a point: sharing that image now could cause too much confusion.
  9. Hey if it still looks like that on Monday I'd be kinda psyched (but of course we'll all be looking at it before that and tell ourselves we're not paying attention, lol) Simpler is so much better
  10. Now see I kinda believed in anniversaries for this week's storm...(exactly 100 years after Knickerbocker and exactly 250 years after Washington/Jefferson). So that kinda burned me...but yet...hey why not, lol
  11. Yeah I mean...we'll see what the Euro says...if that comes back west too then you'd have to think there's a problem. THIS close in, if the GFS is right, you'd think the models we would see the other models going more towards it not shifting west of it again
  12. An unenviable position indeed. It's like literally being at the mercy of whether the GFS is right or not, lol
  13. Listen I don't usually weigh in on model details but...it's hard to imagine at least the ns precip being that dry/shallow. Doesnt look quite right...but somebody else feel free to weigh in.
  14. Already deleted comment for shame...lol Btw I'm also a bit pop culture illiterate in some places. Alright who is it?
  15. Man I'm trying to stay outta there too, but...I'm failing at it, lol
  16. Wait I have a physical exemption...that count? (like if I drink even a little beer I'm bloated and loudly belching for hours!)
  17. This is all Chinese to me...I'm notoriously AI (alcohol illiterate)...lol Can barely drink the stuff, but if I did...snow fails would definitely be one of those times!
