It does seem to be a wave behind this one...didn't make it far enough north this run, but was north of 12z. Day 9/10 of course...I think we'll see some more waves come through. Doesn't SEEM to be cold/dry overall.

Another step south/colder. Gotta wonder if everything either trends to the giant squash of the GFS, or they and the GFS meet in the middle.

Looking at the parade of highs coming down the middle the country on this run...I'm gonna guess if we squeeze a couple inches out of next week (great start for December) we gonna need the block to relax a bit before we get something a little more. Man what we wouldn't give to have an STJ with this block! But such ain't the nina way, lol But a few inches in December is still a nice bonus!

Now I'm torn...If we get it on Friday it'll be the Beethoven storm (his birthday for those who don't know ). AND the Avatar storm. But at the same time...mappy storm, lol

Yeah the whole thing is curious. Now someone can correct me here, but...have we ever gotten snow out of that kind of...uh, whatever it's doing? Even to my eyes it looks a bit weird. I mean on one hand, it makes SOME sense if the block really is that strong (and then the other factor of that 50/50), but on the other hand...yeah, weird, lol
