  1. Thank you, my friend. Until that time, as always......
  2. My sympathies for your loss on this, your Mrs.birthday. Indeed we share pain, so many of us, we could be a forum unto ourselves. My lost love was born on December 18th. She loved that time of year. I still keep, in her memory room, a fully decorated 4 foot artificial tree, the last one I bought for her. It was the final tree and our last celebration together barely seven weeks before she left. The memories often bring tears but somehow those same memories also manage to sooth the pain. I look at her portrait and sometimes whisper “Vaya con Dios, until we meet again” as always .....
  3. “As you sow, so shall you reap” what an outstanding crop you will have, Mr & Mrs J. As always ....
  4. Lovely photo. It brought back memories for me, sadly long gone. The portrait was done a year before we met. Her memory room is where I can still see her. It opens up to our postage stamp. There I can walk, remember and dream. As always ....

  6. I’ve never had the pleasure of meeting or seeing, however if I understand you correctly, despite a gap of generations. Mrs rjay did a much better analysis job of predicting the happiness Of her future than any of our Long term climate models. As always ....

  10. Frightening, BW. I’ve saved this and intend to pass it on. Is an event of this magnitude possible in our eastern metropolitan coastal areas. It looked like a summary execution by an angry atmosphere. As always .....
  11. I remember those years. A little over 26 inches in 1965. The churches were offering special prayers for ran. Houses with Accessible yards in my Brooklyn neighborhoods were having wells dug. Trying to do that In the city today would probably be a permit nightmare. In my present Brooklyn area, even if my postage stamp was accessible, the NYC Landmarks hysterical society board would deny my request because the ground was historical.. As always ....
  12. You cannot be faulted. I feel you must be able to care for yourself before you can care for another. You must be able to love yourself before you can effectively love another. My daughters are both educators, one in public pre- K and one in private special needs. Both are fearful and have voiced their concerns exactly as you have. The DOE’s seem in many cases to be out of touch with our reality. My daughter shared the opening plan with me. I see it at best unworkable, at worst dangerous. The classroom is a front line also. Perhaps it’s time to pay heed to the trench warriors. . As always ...
  13. Conceptually and demonstrably a cold month in the NNE. Still, being out side of even the meteorological defined winter, it would have to be a below normal late fall month. As always ...
  14. Considering, as a group, they have been going strong for over 300 million years, that’s quite a compliment. As always......
  15. I’m not up on the growth of commercial soybean or corm. I would imagine, individual farmers would not likely be insured for such an event. Perhaps some can be salvaged. The atmosphere cares not for us or our works. An applicable, well said, line in regard to our climate may just be “as ye sow .......... and as always ......
  16. Thank you Tip, that will keep me busy for a bit. Also as a closet bloviator I try to stay away from legumes and broccoli. As always ....
  17. Magnificent. Are those summer look ski trails in on the distant mountainside? I can almost feel the fresh and refreshing breeze. To experience and live it, well I’ll have to wait for the next life cycle, if indeed one exists. As always ....
  18. Tip, at my stage of the circle, your post are better for me than a sudoku puzzle. My thanks, as always .....

  21. For that H V you will have to research the work of Immanuel Velikovsky. He wrote a tome “Worlds In Collision” 70 years ago it caused quite a stir. It is said that at the time of his death, Albert Einstein had a copy of Velikovkys work on his desk. As always......
  22. Darn it WW 007, I’m slow. It just dawned on me that your avatar has nothing to do with a powdered sugar D & D. In reference to your Reaping A+++ game, with the way things are going, you might be better off recruiting an assistant, to handle all the volunteers. As always ....
  23. The only weather name I appreciated and enjoyed was written/composed by Lerner and Loewe. “They call the wind Maria”. As always ....
