  1. Any snow, is good snow. Trends seem to be favorable. Worry about details as we get closer. That 30" spot in NE CT is hilarious though.
  2. 25 degrees out this way. WWA posted for tonight for freezing rain. First advisory of this winter season.
  3. 22 currently. With the mostly full moon and crunchy top layer of grass, feels almost like deep winter sans snow.
  4. Precip is outrunning the cold in my area. Down to 39; but I'm about out of moisture.
  5. My town has dropped hundreds on the sides of main roads; due to the ash bore infestation. I didn't see as many stressed ash this past summer as 2018, so maybe, just maybe, the worst has past? 18 at 7:00 am down this way; nice outside with no wind.
  6. 30 degrees in Chester at 6:00. Now 35 in Newark about to go into Prudential for Disney on ice.
  7. Main thread is getting to that unreadable point. Cheers to our first flakes. (I might have an outside shot).
  8. I have observed noticeable change in temps from the valley below me, elevation 350-400',to my property at the top of the hill, elevation 780'. Sometimes 3-4 degrees. The valleys take much longer to warm up in the morning.
  9. Hit 30 out here in west/central North Jersey.
  10. 30 for the low at 7:00 am. 41 currently. Feels great, with full sun. Leaf clean up in full effect.
  11. Over .75" now. Heavy rain continues. Should crack 1" by the time it wraps.
  12. 38 in Chester. Spotted a nice 6-pt strolling through the yard. The rut is on.
  13. Rainy October Sunday is ok. Need it anyway. Stew is simmering; hopefully the games are watchable today; Thursday night was abysmal.
  14. 39 currently. Clouds have moved in. At least yesterday was an excellent outdoor day.
  15. 40 here currently. Progged lows of 32 Thursday/Friday. Could be the end of the growing season for me.
  16. We need a good soaking. Been a rather dry fall. Thankfully spring and most of summer were wet.
