    Decent slug of rain now; should clear out by late morning. Maybe we can salvage the afternoon?

    We also kicked the heat on the first floor zone last night. Currently 50 with light rain. We put up some decent numbers from 4-8:30 a.m; over an 1” now.

    48 with the heaviest rain of the day out this way. I put down new seed yesterday; perfect rate of rainfall to get it watered in so far.

    Bring on the rain! We missed out on last nights event. Looks like some solidly below average temps the next 5 days or so; unfortunate that it’s over Memorial Day weekend.

    Seems like a lot of rot; these storms will expose them. Hopefully not a lot of property damage.

    Just to the north of the warned cell; lots of lightening at the field and soccer practice for my daughter is called. Not much for rain here; wet the dust.

    It’s a tad warm in full sun, but low humidity and a nice breeze. I’m installing a new stone walkway; getting a good sweat but it’s far from oppressive. Quick check on the weather, while cracking the first Yuengling of the day. Enjoy all!

    It was a cool over night camping trip with my daughter’s troop; hit 42 at 5:00 am. Perfect now.

    I think I’d rather pay the natty gas bill to take morning chill out over the electric bill when the AC cranks on those high dews, but considering it’s almost mid-May, it’s getting to be about that time….

    We need rain, but man, what a perfect day… if only I could get this old ride on mower to turn over!

    Last year’s strawberry plants overwintered in the old bathtub I planted them in; nice buds on multiple plants. I’ll have to cover them Sunday/Monday as projected lows are 26.

    We need rain; getting dry. I couldn’t believe how low the Wanaque Res. was when I was up there last weekend.

    It’s pleasant outside, if not a little brisk; sweatpants with a Henley while sitting in partly sunny skies while the kids jump on the trampoline… temp is 55.

    Snowing at the office in Berkeley Heights. Parents had accumulation earlier today on all surfaces at their house, outside of Lexington, VA. Edit: Heavy snow shower now.
