  1. The WU, point and click narrative contains the phrase “near record high temperatures”, however the projected high for MMU is 91; the record is 101. Odd bit of programming to have that phrase included. in any event, next week looks incredible.
  2. Had some thunder and a passing shower. Interesting radar presentation, storms moved southeast and then seemed to pivot due east right around MMU.
  3. Not sure why Forky is trolling. I thought 10 day maps are frowned upon in the winter? It’s hot, humid and annoying. It’s summer in NJ.
  4. I’m about to take a ride out to see if I can find any damage.
  5. That orange dot in the middle of the yellow on the rgem is precariously close to my area. If that hits I’m glad I live at 750’ asl.
  6. 6.85” in my area for the week according to @MANDA maps. We are fully saturated.
  7. More coming. Looking dark down this way. Rumbles to my west and northwest.
  8. We are well over 12” of rain the last thirty days. Remarkable turnaround. I feel for those in eastern areas.
  9. Decent lightening with some loud boomers currently.
  10. About to get that line of storms moving northeast. Seems to be moving quick.
  11. There were some really impressive cloud structures to my north in my drive home before. Looked like a volcanic cloud with the different tones.
  12. We did about 4.25” down this way. The videos coming out of the Bear Mt. area are insane.
  13. HRRR did pretty good my way. Had 4.4 at MMU; according to @MANDA we did 4.22” in Chester.
  14. According to the NOAA map, my area is over 3.5” at 6:00 pm. It’s currently raining harder than it has all storm.
  15. Big storms blowing up here. Heavy rain with occasional lightening with the rumbles of thunder.
  16. Flood watch posted for Morris/Hunterdon/Sussex
  17. Seeing the backside of a pretty impressive cell to my east; I’m guessing towards Morristown. The top of it has various shades of color as the sun sets and the storm approaching from my west starts to fill in. Happy 4th!
  18. About another .75”-1” with that round. We should be over 5” for storm total.
  19. Can confirm the rain totals posted by @MANDA; we were getting crushed again this morning. On my drive down the hills into bedminster this morning the North Branch of the Raritan is milk brown and pumping. Look out below…
  20. Chased a heavy storm from Cabellas all the way back. Roads are flooding in Long Valley. Expecting the basement to start flooding.
  21. Cell #2 for the day. Heavy rain overhead, mowing is done for the day.
  22. Sunshower from that cell NW of SMQ. Trying to mow in between the rain.
  23. Personally this has been the nicest May/June that I can recall in sometime in terms of low humidity and a good diurnal range. Granted now we need rain. Have no fear summer lovers, heat/humidity are on the way; they always are.
  24. Rivers are getting close to jumping their banks out this way. The North Branch of the Raritan in Bedminster is humming. The Passaic was high yesterday near New Road/280, I am sure that will be closing roads any minute now.
