  1. Just finished plowing the driveway. Moderate snow continues. Easily 6+
  2. Moderate/heavy snow now. Very still outside. These are my favorite snows.
  3. Flurries began at 7:45; moderate snow by 8:00. Everything covered in white.
  4. Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?!
  5. I feel like all winter the SE ridge has been discussed as being stronger than modeled. I think the correction closer to the coast is reflective of that.
  6. Brief lull and back into moderate snow (radar seems like this is the last batch). Just shoveled had close to 2”.
  7. At least 1” now with moderate snow continuing to fall.
  8. Woke up to some pretty good snow this morning. Point and click has 1-3” for us.
  9. I wrote in the interior page, bluewave linked a tweet yesterday from a spotter who measured 24.5” at 4:00 pm. I was finding averages of 22.5” at that time. Since then probably another 2.5-3” with snow falling. Great storm.
  10. Per twitter local spotter in my town measured 24.5” at 4:00 pm on 2/1; I was finding averages of 22.5” at that time. Since then, tacked on another 2.5” with more snow falling. So numbers seem in line with the Morris County locals. Going out to continue shoveling now and will get more measurements.
  11. Most we’ve had since 2016; it’ll be close if we break it. I had 32.5” in that one. I’m over 25” now. Dover-Chester Road, about 7 miles between the towns.
  12. Can confirm. Live in Chester. Just puking snow. Started yesterday with flurries at 12:30 noon. It hasn’t stopped.
  13. Around 1:45 it pinged for about 7 minutes during an intense period of snow. Since then back to all heavy snow. Measured 13.5”, 16.5” and 19.5” in 3 separate locations. Will go back out at 4:00.
  14. Temp 24; eyeballing 7-8” on the ground; substantial drifts in areas. Looks like the radar is lighting up with heavy snow inbound.
  15. Measured 2.75” at 8:00 with moderate snow. Temp down to 18. Very still outside; my favorite kind of snow.
