To my untrained eye, the radar seems juiced, it looks like she wants to head due north to Michigan.
Not sure I love that angle of trajectory for much, if any, snow in the area.

I was in Albany for college and post grad from 2001-08; not too many ratters in the bunch. Seemed like it could snow almost daily during the winter at times.
2002/2003 winter was epic. I remember mountains of snow and an unlucky car that was left in the same parking spot all winter, encased in a glacier that blew out the back springs; that was before a front end loader ripped the back of the car off.
I’ve got 32 with a noticeable east wind. I’m not expecting much, but 1-2” would be nice. For reference I am about dead center between Route 80 and 78 sitting at 750’ asl.
Last storm was an initial burst, followed by mostly mix/rain; ended with a car topper. My brother in Hamburg ended up with 2.5-3”.

That’s not exactly a cold locale for NJ in the winter. You might need to move northwest.
