Solid storms out west, rain, frequent thunder and lightening. Seems like they keep back building by flemington.
-
Good lightening to my west; getting grazed by that cell south of Mount Olive.
-
66 with low humidity. Windows open for the next few days, followed by the heat.
-
56 at present.
-
51 here. Quick look at area temps on WU shows a 48 down the hill in Gladstone. Not sure how accurate, but I would think it possible,
-
68 currently; projected low of 52. Delightful for August 1. I fully expect the triple “H”s back; enjoying this for now.
-
58 here, progged for 53 tomorrow night.

I split the uprights out this way, had a :30 sun shower while mowing; which incidentally is incredibly thick for the end of July. Some decent wind now behind the front. Open window time!
-
The WU, point and click narrative contains the phrase “near record high temperatures”, however the projected high for MMU is 91; the record is 101. Odd bit of programming to have that phrase included. in any event, next week looks incredible.
-
Had some thunder and a passing shower. Interesting radar presentation, storms moved southeast and then seemed to pivot due east right around MMU.
-
Not sure why Forky is trolling. I thought 10 day maps are frowned upon in the winter? It’s hot, humid and annoying. It’s summer in NJ.
-
I’m about to take a ride out to see if I can find any damage.
-
That orange dot in the middle of the yellow on the rgem is precariously close to my area. If that hits I’m glad I live at 750’ asl.
-
6.85” in my area for the week according to @MANDA maps. We are fully saturated.
-
More coming. Looking dark down this way. Rumbles to my west and northwest.
-
We are well over 12” of rain the last thirty days. Remarkable turnaround. I feel for those in eastern areas.
-
Decent lightening with some loud boomers currently.
-
About to get that line of storms moving northeast. Seems to be moving quick.
-
There were some really impressive cloud structures to my north in my drive home before. Looked like a volcanic cloud with the different tones.
-
We did about 4.25” down this way. The videos coming out of the Bear Mt. area are insane.
-
HRRR did pretty good my way. Had 4.4 at MMU; according to @MANDA we did 4.22” in Chester.
-
According to the NOAA map, my area is over 3.5” at 6:00 pm. It’s currently raining harder than it has all storm.
-
Big storms blowing up here. Heavy rain with occasional lightening with the rumbles of thunder.
-
Flood watch posted for Morris/Hunterdon/Sussex

Seeing the backside of a pretty impressive cell to my east; I’m guessing towards Morristown. The top of it has various shades of color as the sun sets and the storm approaching from my west starts to fill in. Happy 4th!
