    I honestly think our highest snow total this year was 4.5”; so the bar is low out this way.

    That’s right over my hood. Saw a wild amber flash to my south; I’m guessing a local transformer. Our house is between Mendham/long valley and bedminster is south.

    Getting it here. First thunderstorm of the season. Heavy winds, rain, thunder and lightening. Just lost power.

    I just walked the yard here, at least .25”, maybe more. Limbs were snapping as I walked; that was slightly hair raising.

    Everything caked in ice. A few pine limbs are down. Just lost power. Temp stuck at 29.

    Out this way it could get dicey. West of MMU I have seen upwards of 1” of sleet/freezing rain on some models, and others showing 7.5”+ of snow. Slopfest incoming.

    Off topic, but I played against Butler on the old field back by the hill; great games. Before that, my dad used to take us to watch the Thanksgiving game. Turf is the way of life now, but personally I enjoyed playing on grass.

    Weird temperature inversions this morning, at least per wunderground. I have 21, down the road in the valley is at 13.

    Very scenic snow with clear roads; the best of both worlds.

    Cooled off quick when the clouds moved in. Was almost a spring teaser in south Jersey while down there for work.
