  1. No doubt. I'm over the disappointment at this point. It's snowing hard and it's a beautiful morning. Going to end up in the 3-6 range with a shot at some more winter weather over the next few weeks.
  2. Massive flakes. Street is covered. Grass blades are almost completely covered.
  3. Steady snow. Dusting on the grass. Starting to stick to sidewalks and parts of driveway. Guessing if it can snow like this through noon, 2-4/3-6 would verify.
  4. Down to 36. Doubt it starts as rain here.
  5. Radar would make you believe a major storm is coming. Kinda baffling the models are showing what they are.
  6. 12k on Weatherbell is way better than the usual 10:1 map, which is basically a disaster. Crazy how this has trended away from us. This area simply cannot catch a break the past five years. Maybe the late week event will finally break our way.
  7. Seems like everything is still on the table at this point. I would take Millville's 4-7 with spots up to 9 and run with it right now given some of the trends. Agree with PSU that, with marginal temps, we looked great with 1-2+ inch per hour rates, but now that the models are lightening up on qpf, it's easy to go from 4-8 to almost nothing due to rates not allowing the snow to accumulate.
  8. Why is Pivotal and Weatherbell Kuchera always so different?
  9. I hope it slows down some because that run was in and out in a hurry. 3K is down to like a 6-hour snowstorm.
  10. Some places going to make a run at a foot, even maybe slightly more, if those snowfall rates are accurate and you end up being the lucky one that sees that ridiculous high rates for a few hours.
  11. FWIW, HRRR at range was a trainwreck with the last storm. Pretty sure it was way north and showed little for NYC.
  12. Man, if there was only a way to slow this thing down. What a mauling.
  13. People dog on the SREF's all the time, but if you don't pay attention to the ridiculous members (which is pretty obvious when you look at the charts), it's pretty accurate and gives you a great idea of what to expect. It did a really nice job with our last storm at least for my area.
  14. Pivotal Kuchera looks way different. Highest amounts are around 6-8 inches. DC is like 4-5.
  15. There are some big hitters in there. Must snow like crazy for an 8-10 hour storm.
  16. Yeah, I think I might not have anything left other than some small snow piles come Saturday night. It took a beating today.
  17. Not enough hot dog emojis for that map, lol.
  18. Looks pretty accurate. Has me at 10-11. I think I got 3ish from the mid December event and then 6-7ish from the recent storm. Also had 2 or 3 light dustings.
  19. I don't remember the individual storms, but I just remember in the weeks leading up to the two big February storms, there was a few minor systems that ended up overachieving by quite a bit. There was like a three week stretch where I think I ended up with 70 inches of snow or something ridiculous like that.
  20. NAM is an absolute thumping. It's a shame it's so freaking fast-moving. Wish we could find a way to slow it down a little. Some serious moisture with this one.
