  1. It hit 88 degrees here. Feels pretty good with the fairly low humidity.
  2. That surprises me because the tree pollen came out incredibly early this year due to the extemely warm winter. I started feeling my allergies in mid February, the earliest I can ever remember. My allergies were bad in March and April, but now they're calming down.
  3. Beautiful weather, but the ground is very dry again. Obviously we needed a drying out period after that heavy rain a couple weeks ago, but now it's going to be too dry. The rain is going to miss us to the south on saturday and next week looks dry. A lot of watering will be needed.
  4. High temp of 80 here today. Absolutely beautiful ... felt very comfortable with the low humidity. More spectacular weather coming for wednesday and thursday.
  5. Still looks as if the much warmer pattern will start on sunday. We should see mid to upper 70s next week. Looking forward to the warmer weather.
  6. Two day storm total of 3.85" here.
  7. Great soaking for the garden and I'm glad we're wiping out the rainfall deficit, but yeah hopefully we won't have any more weekend washouts for awhile. I see 12z Euro took away the rain for next saturday. Hopefully the models are right about nice weather next weekend. Also looks as if we'll get back to nice temps in the 70s starting around next sunday.
  8. 12z EURO showing a rainy weekend too. One batch friday night into saturday and another sunday into sunday night. 2 to 3 inches for a lot of the area between the 2 batches.
  9. Yeah saturday's rain is looking more impressive now. 12z CMC gives us a nice 1 to 2 inch soaking saturday, similar to last night's Euro.
  10. Nothing spectacular, but a heavy downpour with a little thunder here. Nice soaking for the garden tonight.
  11. 69 degrees here right now. Perfect Spring weather today. Hopefully we'll get a decent soaking saturday night. Several of today's 12z models are giving us a half inch to inch of rain.
  12. Now a nice steady moderate rain. Glad the vegetable garden is getting a good soaking this evening.
  13. It's coming down in buckets here now. Hopefully this downpour will hit Stormlover as it moves north.
  14. Just had a decent downpour. It all seems to be drifting more to the east now, so hopefully we'll get a good amount of rain this evening.
  15. Yep I was just gonna mention that. It weakened and the heaviest is going just a few miles to our west. Just some light to moderate rain here right now. I hear the thunder to the west. Hopefully we'll get some heavier rain later. We really need it.
  16. Yep very dark sky to the south and I'm hearing a lot of thunder. Looking forward to getting some heavy rain.
  17. High temp of 93 here today. Another beautiful day. I did a little running out there in the heat and it didn't feel bad at all thanks to the low humidity. I hope the models are right about downpours for tomorrow. I was just out there watering the vegetable garden, and it's very dry. We really need some rain.
  18. 90 feels pretty good when the humidity is this low.
  19. Spectacular day. 85 degrees here, but it feels great with the low humidity. We have a chance of hitting 90 tomorrow and friday. At least 88.
  20. I mentioned this in the sports forum as well, and a couple people pointed out that the Mets probably just didn't want to play today after the trip from Milwaukee. They probably just used the slight chance of a late day t-storm as an excuse to postpone a game that they didn't want to play. Of course baseball is a warm weather sport and today was a very rare chance to have a warm opening day game. Would've been one of the best weather days ever for a home opener. A shame. Instead they'll play in the cooler weather tomorrow. It's so ridiculous that a game can be postponed for a day like today with no rain at all during the afternoon.
  21. Temps moving up quickly now with this sunshine. It just hit 83 here.
  22. Looks as if the severe threat is staying well to the south today. Any showers/storms that hit up here will likely hold off until early evening, so they could have gotten the Mets home opener in this afternoon. Looks as if they made a blunder postponing it. I don't agree with postponing games for mediocre t-storm chances.
  23. 77 here right now. It hit 79 earlier. No surprise that temps are overperforming today.
  24. Wednesday might not be as warm due to east winds, but low 70s tomorrow and I still think we have a chance of seeing 80 degrees on thursday if the t-storms can hold off until later afternoon rather than midday. Dewpoints will likely spike to the low 60s thursday too ... it will be a summery day.
