  1. Was very summer like here an hour ago. 73, sunny, humid, and breezy. Then the clouds rolled in with some light showers.
  2. Check PDIII's post above. Thus why I used quotes.
  3. 72 at 930 am. gonna be a hot one lol
  4. Agreed. Certainly no indication the "FDA found a cure". https://www.thedailybeast.com/anti-malaria-drug-to-be-made-available-to-coronavirus-patients-almost-immediately-trump-says
  5. Made it to 62 here, even with lots of sun the last few hours. Back door did its thing today to some extent. Tomorrow will be a different story. Low 80s looks like a good bet here.
  6. I doubt the antibiotic had much of an impact, unless the virus produces a secondary bacterial infection. Antibiotics are not effective against a virus.
  7. Still forecasting a high of 71 here. Currently cloudy and 58.
  8. Good soaker overnight. 0.77". Looks like it drys out today with temps approaching 70...then 80 tomorrow.
  9. At least folks managed to find something else that required them to stock up on TP.
  10. Those numbers are not impressive especially if you remove china and Italy from equation They are also not accurate due to the the lack of testing and inability to obtain the real numbers, esp in this country. Probably multiply it by 10.
  11. I looks like a general repeat of late last week, but with maybe some better convection. It was in the mid 70s here last Friday then 50s for the weekend. At this point a day of 80+ would be NBD. I would not be surprised to see quite a few more in April.
  12. Looks like 80 on Friday before going back to chilly temps for the weekend. Maybe only mid 40s for Sunday. No snow in sight for those still seeking that.
  13. It doesn't matter. This is a medium-long range discussion thread for weather enthusiasts. None of this stuff is relevant here.
  14. Rooting for cold, or anything, has zero impact on the chances of it occurring. If this really disturbs you, perhaps you should not venture into this thread.
  15. Yeah I saw that. Kinda blows my plan. Will be a madhouse when they reopen in the morning.
  16. I am thinking of doing a midnight Walmart run for general food and stuff. Still will probably be a disaster. I am good on booze for now- small town with 2 places that have all necessities. Decent selection of craft beers and excellent on wine and liquor.
  17. I mean, when the greedy ass sports leagues are all shutting down, that says something about how critical it is to engage in social isolation. I just need my go to beer places to stay open another day or 2 . I am NOT stocked up!
  18. Good to see these establishments doing what is necessary for the greater good, despite the fact they are fuccking themselves.
  19. In other (semi-non related) news, Marshall Yanda retired this week, leaving a major hole on the OL for the Ravens to fill. Might have to address that need through the draft, whenever that happens.
  20. Flattening the curve yo. PDIII doesn't get it.
  21. NFL Draft has been postponed and will not be held in Las Vegas as planned. My guess is it will go on behind the scenes, via conference calls etc. with no fanfare.
  22. Picked up 0.18" of rain.
  23. Any objective, fair minded person would agree that Fox news is largely a propaganda machine. I say that as a moderate democrat who has many conservative friends and family members, and is not a big fan of CNN or MSNBC either. There have been some legit good and objective journalists at Fox- Shep Smith was probably the best in recent times, until he just couldn't play that game anymore. There are one or 2 left there that are real journalists- Chris Wallace is one that comes to mind. Fox has essentially become state TV. There is no equivalent to Fox on the left leaning media outlets. It is simply the truth.
