  1. @Weather Will Probably about time to retire the WB snow maps dude. Not happening in mid April.
  2. Mid 60s to low 70s with some sun at times looks good to me over the next 4-5 days. Some shower chances mixed in there but probably nothing significant until maybe Wednesday. Typical Spring weather.
  3. He really needs to take a break and get himself sorted.

    COVID-19 Talk

I saw something a couple days ago that 25-50% may exhibit no symptoms. I would have to go back and look at what study that came from- may have been a report based on 2 different ones. Given the lack of available/timely testing, and how highly contagious this virus is, it may end up that the majority of us will be exposed to it in the coming weeks/months, and those who exhibit no/very mild symptoms will simply never know they had it. The social distancing/use of masks, etc are the key to preventing the non-symptomatic from spreading it. Plenty of uncertainties with modeling(as we all know here). Just my unscientific, pragmatic thoughts.
  7. Looks like that meandering, perpetual coastal low will finally move east today. At least it weakened enough that the wind died down. It will probably still be mostly cloudy today. Tomorrow looks super nice.
  8. LOL I do remember that. Me and my bother watched that in reruns when we were kids. Only "soap opera" worth watching!
  9. Snakes on a Plane.. Zombies on a Train!
  10. Pretty intense. https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/train_to_busan
  11. Drinking a Hazy IPA and watching Train to Busan. Whats better than watching a zombie movie during our apocalyptic pandemic?

You and I are probably pretty close on the political spectrum. I agree Hogan has done a great job, and yes I think he is a moderate republican. I am not really affected at all by pollen, so I would be able to tell if something was going on. I know people that have terrible allergies and one symptom is a persistent (dry) cough. My mom is one of those people.

Yeah lets relax on the political stuff... So I woke up feeling a little rough this morning- headache, stomach was off, and ofc given the situation, the tendency is to think every symptom you get is the onset of the virus. I legit was getting stressed thinking about staying away from my parents, etc. I feel ok now, but I am going to carefully "monitor" myself today. I feel like a hypochondriac lol.

I don't disagree. It may in fact be well into the fall, so in that respect you may be correct. It is possible there will be a vaccine available by then. I agree on your other points. Early, effective, and widely available testing would have been a game changer. Not sure how much of a difference it will make now, but it sure wouldn't hurt. Why wasn't the greatest nation on earth prepared?

Well, by "all clear" I meant back to normal- i.e. reopening the economy, as Trump unrealistically wanted to do on Easter, just because. Who knows when that will happen exactly, but I am sure it will occur prior to a vaccine being developed and widely available.

Unlike all other major sports, the NFL has been "lucky" so far. This pandemic is occurring at a time when the only event impacted is the draft- and that can go on as scheduled, just under highly modified circumstances. Going forward, they are going to have to come to grips with reality. OTAs, and potentially training camps will be directly impacted, which will ultimately affect the regular season.

Is this for real? Glad we have Hogan in MD and not this mouth breather. JFC. Weather is not the only reason I would NEVER live anywhere south of here. https://thehill.com/homenews/state-watch/490758-georgia-governor-says-he-didnt-know-asymptomatic-people-could-spread

Well, we hit the one million mark globally for cases, with over 50,000 deaths.

Honestly no. I love going to Rehoboth and going to DFH and all the other cool places, but after a couple months of basically staying at home, that will be a weird transition to make. I mean I am longing for it in my mind, probably even more than usual given the circumstances, but I may be a little hesitant when we are given the "all clear".

Yeah this is a good point. We all now realize what needs to be done for now and over the coming weeks, but at the same time many of us are thinking about plans we have made for the summer months, and whether or not they are even realistic at this point. Along those lines, most of us will probably respect and be fearful of the potential for a "relapse", or whatever the proper term is in the context of a pandemic, if we get 'back to normal' too quickly. Interesting times ahead.
