I think most people would like to get back to "normal", but that simply isn't going to happen immediately, outside of ass backwards places like Georgia. So it seems you will just have to be patient. You are solidly in the minority on this. If the model projections are close to correct, the process could begin (in phases) by the end of May, IMO.

I did it a week or so ago. LOL 3 freeze warnings since. It felt like Spring so early this year. Guess I got lulled into it.. I covered em' again. THIS should be the last time.

Most states have a criteria for when to begin the stepwise process for "reopening". In MD and probably VA as well, it will likely begin around June 1, IMO. That is based on the current data and modeled projections, and hopefully adequate testing resources.

The models continually adjust to real time data, and factored into the projections are continuation of the measures that are in place for specific time periods, including stay at home orders and general social distancing. I am sure you know this, but there are "suggestions" in this post to the contrary.

I know there is a warning, I just doubt it it will verify here. I probably shouldn't, given the bust low a few nights ago, but the wind *should* prevent temps from going subfreezing.

I honestly don't think I have ever seen one fly around here. Ofc they are usually just doing their thing undisturbed when I see them. Either way I am pretty sure they aren't very good at it lol. I resisted scratching the 120 itch. Decided to finish the last Hazelnut Mocha Latte Stout.

Thoughts from Mt Holly for tomorrow- Interesting weather shaping up for Tue with a strong cold front attached to a strong H5 trough expected to swing thru the area during the afternoon. The latest SWODY2 has upgraded our CWA to a slight risk for severe with strong winds and small hail the main threats. There is plenty of cold air aloft and strong winds for tstms, but the overall moisture and instability is limited, so we`ll have to wait and see how things unfold Tue morning.
