  1. Its nuts how a season will just grab a hold of a storm pattern like a pit bull and just never let go....that LBSW element to each storm. Porked in my area, and prokier to my NE, up in ME. Last two el nino's act like a la nina, and nail NNE...now la nina acts like an el nino and nails s of pike. Gonna need ENSO neutral here, I guess.
  2. That is one item I plan on crossing off of my bucket list within the next few years....experiencing a 10' pack in the Sierrras...along with a huge LES event.
  3. I get your point s of the pike, but I get like 3.5" over about 40 hours on the EURO....'cmon. Glorified non-event.
  4. It wasn't the case last year because we had one winter storm all season.
  5. Yea, my map is 8-10"....doesn't matter yet.
  6. Yea, verbatim it blows, but I can see the subtle trend down south on the clown....not examining mid levels at this hour.
  7. GEM is like 8-10" on the NARCAN....JP near KTAN to Attelboro.
  8. Bc they don't know where the focus will be yet.
  9. Maybe its bc I'm getting older, but I'm done with 3" over 24 hours at this point of the season...I'd rather warmth.
  10. Careful....mid level banding is usually near the modeled QPF gradient.
  11. Then Monday night will rain again...jesus, I want out.
  12. I think it nailed western NE, and was forgettable here.
  13. Don't remember that one, which probably says something.
  14. I don't either. I'm comfy with my initial 5-10", but I would like to see the 00z Euro a bit more aggressive.
  15. Why would ratios be better when the more intense lift is SW?
  16. What I find most interesting about the EPS is that it tacks on another couple on inches on Saturday over eastern and especially SE sections....there must be some members really going to town and amplifying.
