  1. John, at least for my area, I disagree. I had almost 90", including a 30"+ event in the midst of my snowiest March on record ...not sure what was left on the field. And believe me, I love to b.tch, as everyone well knows. If you really want to get technical, 2015 left alot on the field in March....Boston could have easily had 125".
  2. I could still see a favorable stretch in early March, but yea...barring a HECS that actually produces as such IMBY, the fate is sealed on this year...another dud.
  3. Eh....I'm kind of over this season....it is what it is. 4th consecutive bad season. A fifth next season would be unprecedented.
  4. Damn...place can't catch a break. I desperately need them to stack up some snow for my seasonal.
  5. Thanks...god stuff, Chris. Is Albany just NW of that?
  6. Usually about at this point when Steve will angerly log in with a chart illustrating why the event is not anafrontal.
  7. I think we've all seen an onside kicks work, but the point is that when you are desperate enough to pin your hopes to it, you are probably going to lose.

  10. There is a petition in place to have "Flash Freeze" adjoined with the Windex entry in the Fraud Five...
  11. I am getting to the point where I just want to be done with it, and sacrifice another sub 50% of mean seasonal snowfall to the gods of regression. Not complaining, but its been exhausting.
  12. Yea, no disappointment this go around for me. I'm comfortably numb and aware.
  13. Final Call...lowered snow accumulations a bit and hit icing slightly harder. Allow for plenty of extra time tomorrow AM, especially points north of the Mass pike and away from the immediate coast beyond rt 128, as arctic air will begin to transition rain to a dangerous sleet and glaze mixture. While it should not be enough t cause much in the way of power interruptions, it should produce very hazardous driving and walking conditions. This will sink southward throughout the day entering CT, RI and southeast Mass by the afternoon. It could end as a dusting to possibly up to 2 inches of snow north of route 2 corridor in northern Mass early tomorrow evening. https://easternmassweather.blogspot.com/2022/02/final-call-for-slippery-friday.html
  14. Nah, ENSO forcing ebbs and flows...I wouldn't debate that. I don't argue that climate change is altering things somewhat, either.
  15. Will and Steve tried telling me how great my spot looked....and just as Ginxy sits back and smiles, I just sit back and say.....wait for it....sure enough.
  16. Man, this event blows....glad I never invested.
