18Z Icon remained OTS. If this ends up not hitting the US, keep in mind that both the Icon and UKMET haven’t had even one run so far with anything even that close to a landfall.

that looks miserable, unless its like a D10 ordeal lol
-
Looks ominous

Somebody mentioned Joaquin the other page and man, this might be worse. I don’t think there’s anyone that even has a clue of what this will do.

-
october 1-10 miracle now, because we honestly have no fucking idea when this storm will hit (if at all)

SSE is always a great direction for a LF in SNE. Heading in from Lake Ontario?
-
I don't have it yet.
-
look at the 18z Euro
-
My Oaks are quite a bit ahead of schedule. Lots even down already . What I’m seeing on the leaves is either totally brown or a lot of black speckled leaves . So my guess is the wet , humid summer gave them some type of a fungus that causes early change and drop.
-
nothing looks remotely interesting for anywhere near SNE

18z Euro stays offshore heading SSE at hr 144 and starting to restrengthen.. might have a been a interesting run if it went out further
-
It's kinda hard to tell without seeing the species up close. There's a lot of pine and hemlock in there which account for a lot of the green. The older oaks here have some spotty change, but are still mostly green. He's obviously at elevation so I'd probably call that high color. Their current map has patches of high mixed with the mod.

18z Euro keeps the center offshore and heading back south at hr 132
-
I can’t remember for sure but I always thought it was based on how much the snowcover advances from the beginning of October until the end. In that case, you wouldn’t want above normal snowcover in early October I would assume.

positivity! yay!

Agreed......

Meanwhile Euro pretty much undid yesterday’s walk backs.
-
Agreed except Irene took down a shitload of trees in my woods.

E PA/NJ/DE Autumn 2025 Obs/Discussion
Hurricane Agnes replied to PhiEaglesfan712's topic in Philadelphia Region
I saw one weather site talking about Fujiwhara. I remember that in the eastern Pacific in 2017 with Hurricane Hilary and TS Irwin - NASA had an interesting write-up and graphic of that - https://gpm.nasa.gov/extreme-weather/hilary-and-irwin-interaction-shown I got really screwed the past 3 days with the rain. Only got a total of 0.47" over those 3 days, with yesterday's 0.29" as the largest of the series. As an obs, I bottomed out at 66 this morning and got up to 81 as a high. Was surprised to see so much blue sky! Currently 74 with dp 64. -
Barely moderate color in those pictures . Looks like great warm sunny hike !
