Why is Ken posting dewpoint temps? I wonder why they’re low lol. Maybe an Elm fell on his head while cutting?

Last few months have had its share of unusual temps, rainfall and winds. Today almost chilly in the early morning when dog walking, then upon leaving the movies the winds really picked up. Saw the ocean surf temp temp going up today, I imagine from the Eastery winds.

1953, 1966 and 1983 analogs on tap, let's see which one comes the closest to matching this historic summer !!!! For winter, everyone should want a 1966 match.....

I wonder if the cool downs in 1953 were similar to the one we are in right now? It did have two super heatwaves (heatwaves of 7+ days) and that all time record 12 day super heatwave that culminated in the all time September record of 102 and 4 days of 100+ evenly split between the two super heatwaves which was only matched in 1966 (which had 4 100+ days split between three heatwaves.)

Let's hope for sun n fun. Wish it were a 92/72 heater but that's not feasible.

hello i know or am assuming that all of this is open discussion and uncertain what next year is going to bring but i am rooting for a cooler fall cold winter and hopefully also a less active season at least than this year depending on whos turn it is next year plains midwest ohio valley southeast along with oh joy analogs too

Maybe NYC will finally hit 100+ in the next heatwave and JFK will have two heatwaves with 100+ temperatures, the only other time that happened was in 1983 (NYC had 4 100+ degree days in 1953 evenly split between 2 heatwaves and 4 100+ degree days in 1966 divided between three heatwaves).
