It is so nice out, do not even have the A/C on... just doors wide open. Will likely turn on the dehumidifier function of the mini-split to sleep, but man it is just perfect summer outside right now in the waning light. Still can see outside fine at 9pm without artificial light. It's a whole vibe. 73/68.
-
High of 89.2 here. A tremendous bust. Forecast was 96-97.
-
83/78 (HI 92) here at 9PM, I’m used to this being from Queens but it’s always a welcome surprise here well outside of the heat island. Pure unadulterated heat outside.
-
The sweat .. the towns .. the hills .. the city . HHH!
-
Where's @LibertyBellwhen you need him lol
-
The area just out ahead of the seabreeze will roast for sure.
-
LibertyBell with the highest max temp in the region.
-
77.7° What a night
-
18z GEMLAM has 108 degrees Tuesday afternoon in SW Nassau County hahahahahahahaha
-
Still 85 / 73 here nice lifting board for tomorrow.
-
Similar placed ridge at 500MB to Jul 17-18 2013 which produced 100 degree heat.
-
Temps may over perform tomorrow then. Widespread 100s
-
Haha. It's like Miami down here on the shoreline. 88/74 at 9pm.
-
Correct. Temps verified east of the city but maybe not west and southwest. The rain and wind forecast was horrendous
-
I love really warm evenings . it's unfortunate we can't get them without hot days. It is hard to control the beer intake however. They go down like water...
-
Well they had it half right, it got very sticky and warm here in the late afternoon - standing over the grill was brutal. Weather station read a 101 heat index around 5:30 pm with a dewpoint of 78.
-
90 here. My forecast high was 91 for today. Not a huge bust… the winds were under forecast big time. Took the boat out and it was blowing 25-30 mph, got soaked. They did slacken in the evening, but it was really blowing earlier
-
Both the GFS and Euro maintain a warm-hot and steamy day on the 4th low 90s metro, upper 80s coast beaches with no rain. 2-3 : warm / humid 5-6 : warm humid storms on the euro on the 6th
-
What is left of the MCS and clouds still seen of the last few loops riding around the rim of the expanding ridge
-
Clouds through 4PM and still made it to 90 here, in most placed even with almost a full day of clouds forecasts highs were only missed by 6 - 8 degrees. Had we partly cloudy/ sunny conditions - highs would have over performed in my opinion.
-
Forecast for tomorrow is 82. Not horrible.

I wondered how far any sea breeze could make it inland the next few days?
