I'm not too upset about missing the HECS because it would have been gone in a few days. The Jan 25 storm sticking around for 4th longest on Baltimore record makes this Winter, imo. even though there could have been more light snow events. I think it only snowed here (flurries or more) 11 times the whole Winter. 19 last Winter, and under 10 each of the previous Winters since 2018. A light snowfall drought.

Something weird is going on this year. I have never seen so many wild temperature swings like this. I hope this doesn't continue into the summer. I don't want it to be 100 degrees one afternoon in June or July, then be near 50 degrees at the same time the next day or a few days later.

Funny thing about your 4th paragraph...This off-season is the first time in his tenure that he actually started to reversed the prospect-hugging narrative...and the spending one. Some people don't believe we offered Suarez an identical deal, but that rumor makes sense given how agressive we were for Alonso. And then we gave up 3 prospects for Baz...while he may or may not be good, that was still more agressive than he has been--probably because ownership gave him an ultimatum. But yes overall? I have no clue how the talent here has been so disappointing--I mean what the heck did Elias do to these bats? Too much analytics? It doesn't seem to be a swing for the fences approach as the homers haven't been there...I'd love to know what the heck he and Sig have going on in those coaching rooms to mess stuff up like this, smh This will be Elias' last year for sure if things don't turn around. He's the only thing left that hasn't been changed, lol (That "promotion" last year isn't necessarily an indicator of any commitment from Rubenstein & co, imo)

As an Orioles fan I'm so tired of this same shit game after game. It's been going on for 2 seasons. Started after the allstar break in 2024 and has continued up till now. Complete suckage. Orioles fans endured a 5 year tear down to the studs rebuild to end up with this crap. A president of baseball operations that refuses to go out and sign a legit front of the rotation starter. Who is also a prospect hugger who's missed out on selling high even while having Log jams at the MLB level. Other than Gunner, the young core has been a disappointment, either from poor play or injuries.

We are seeing rain today in Buda, only 56 degrees nice cool weather and more rain developing to the southwest and then hitting us, piling up and padding totals. I've seen 1.3 today, a half inch yesterday now up to nearly 9 inches on the year. Uh-oh I may be catching up to Northern Virginia rain totals lol.
