  1. Past hour
  2. Just like that the warmup is gone during the 1st week of December on the gfs thanks to the negative epo
  3. Record warmth prevailed across Minnesota yesterday, with record highs of 56F at Minneapolis-St. Paul and 55F at St. Cloud.
  4. Stop talking about smoked Turkey. It's Monday. I stop consuming Tuesday morning to make room. On Wednesday evening I chug a Roaring Springs Premium Water cooler jug to stretch the stomach out. I don't need this temptation already lol
  5. 12z guidance looking to close the book on this one before a thread even gets made
  6. GFS shows my new Pit1 getting more snow than Pit2 next week. Sell. Sell. Sell.
  7. If not for that piddly 0.2" on April 9, we'd be near our longest stretch without measurable snow on record right now, as that was the only measurable snow after March 8.
  8. 1 run but the gfs showed what a negative epo can do.
  9. Nice GFS run for mid-next week (weenie)
  10. well i'll be damned. DC winter storm on December 3-4.

  12. 12z GFS brough back the -EPO for early Dec Nice High pressure location.. but this is just one run
  13. and now the 12Z GooFus has backed that up to 12/3!
  14. December 3 FOLKS to rain on the GFS
  15. Better PV press on the gfs for next week. Like I said , the models have been way too warm in the long range only to get cooler as time goes on.
  16. Its the truth. Look how the models are getting colder again in the mid range. Truth hurts for some of you.
  17. the trend towards more of a wave break in the Pacific might make the first week of the month interesting... more of a -EPO, which displaces more cold air south. combine that with some lingering vorticity in the SW, and overrunning opportunities may present themselves
  18. PV is dipping further south on the gfs. Overrunning looking interesting during the 1st week of december.
  19. He says a lot more than that in that scene...not that I buy all of it, just thought there was some interesting points brought up.
  20. My son is in Valdez, beautiful place Sent from my motorola edge 5G UW (2021) using Tapatalk
  21. I'm looking for recommendations for in-helmet sound/communication - anyone have anything they use and like? My son has simply been using Airpods as he listens to music while riding. I looked into the Cardo Packtalk units and Alec Nunchucks and liked the idea of on-mountain communication while actively riding. Reviews are kind of all over the place though with respect to group communication. Any recommendations for a quality/reliable setup you have experience with is appreciated. TIA
  22. Absolutely buy....that is the Pacific trough regime I expect to take hold around Xmas and through the first half of January that should flip to +TNH mid month.
