Thedepression is moving toward the north-northeast near 5 mph (7 km/h)and a turn toward the northeast with a gradual increase in forwardspeed is expected over the next 48 hours. On the forecast track,the center will move over eastern North Carolina overnight and intosoutheastern Virginia on Monday.Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts.Some weakening is likely during the next day or so.The estimated minimum central pressure is 1007 mb (29.74 inches). This is the last public advisory issued by the National HurricaneCenter on this system.
