Not sure how to read that map sankaty. The higher res maps many of us saw confirm it's mostly snow for most people.

The Euro has an exceptional CAD signal over New England during the storm which would indicate a lean toward a snowier solution all things being equal. The sfc freezing line never really gets NW of BOS. 850mb implies a bit of sleet taint for a time...esp SE of ORH-ASH line, but its a detail not worth harping over at this time range.

morning crew in the house. what a night of runs for most of us. now I have to figure out the best and most delicate way to cancel my work in buffalo on Wednesday.

keeping it weather related, the euro seems to be the way to go. It has been very consistent and this kinda setup it handles well. GFS will get there Monday.
