take a look at the post again, and you will see the 700mb vv's (vertical velocities) depicted in our general neck of the woods (not shown in your snippet), indicating significant lift in the atmosphere underneath which there would be enhanced snowfall rates.

Thanks for the quick lesson! Living in Lower Bucks County PA, I too would love to see this verify.

LOL, we hope. There are a lot of folks west of PHL who get a nervous tick everytime the words "sharp" and "cutoff" are used with these storms. Shades of 12/30/00 and, oh yeah, 12/26/10, come to mind. :huh:
