I got two inches before the ice started, and two after. And around 7 from this event and that has the 10 inches at least close to me. According to mrx I had about 3 total inches. They also showed less than .10 ice here and I had almost .4. 1

Yeah, I agree it's closer overall John. I noticed it has your location pretty close. Still way off here. I've contacted NOAA. Hope to get a response Tomorrow. From what it looks like is what I've mentioned in here as far as this Area is concerned, and that's the flawed Pennington gap Station at the Sewer Plant. It's rightfully located to how it is; full of sh*t.
BlunderStorm
Got 7.2" Analysis has me at 5.5-5.9". Not great, not terrible. 3 hours ago, Daniel Boone said: They have it wrong for here. That is affecting Model Outputs as John noted. I'll contact someone regarding that. I don't know if that's estimated or based off Observations or both. Im in central Lee County and have recorded 7.8" Seems that one station has messed everything up in Lee. EDIT: Just realized this includes the previous storm. Got 1.5" before zr and 2.0" after for a total of 10.7" so it's way off.

Jed33
MRX mentioned that snow cover was having a big effect on temps and that even lower elevations may have a mix of rain and snow this afternoon and then tomorrow night maybe a dusting to a few tenths of an inch of snow.

A cumulative ice + snow map might be more interesting, though that won't make most in Middle TN any happier. Glad I somehow got in the blue.
Holston_River_Rambler
Occasionally, some really bright returns on radar across middle TN along the leading edge as the precip moves in. Would almost guarantee a burst of sleet.

John1122
We were predicted to hit 45 today. It's 36. I am sure it's going to rain but another day of thick clouds has meant snow not melting off the roads.

Holston_River_Rambler
As far as I can tell, it looks like everyone has gotten above freezing, so at least no ice to deal with this evening.

Carvers Gap
I gotta admit. It feels good out there. After looking the Weeklies 500 pattern for March....I need to bank some warm days. Looks like cold returns after Feb 20th roughly. No guarantees.
John1122
Temp is 34 with this rain. It's slicker out now that it was at any point with the snow and cold. Grip is good when it's 25 or below.

Jed33
I hit 40 earlier but somehow have worked my way back down to 32 at the moment. I’m in an area the HRRR showed with ZR for this evening. I don’t think it will last long, but it’s interesting nonetheless!
John1122
I see that Kentucky is getting heavy snow again this evening. This has been one of the most epic winter ever 150 miles north of our area. We are better at warming up from extreme cold and raining than any spot in the nation.
