The snow tapered to flurries very briefly, but now it's back snowing moderately again. This is crazy! According to @WXNewton's observation, it's been snowing in Hickory solidly since 3-4 AM. That's amazing! What a storm!

That's correct, started at 3 o'clock on the dot and has not stopped since!

I’m fine if we are, but I don’t think winter is done yet. Got a hunch we see the ground covered 1 more time.

Shoot, I’ll be returning to Montana with highs In the 60’s. Y’all are sitting pretty for more winter whereas the the western half of the country is wondering where it is and dreading a cold and snowy Spring/early Summer.

Finally a more typical winter with more than 1 event. We are still below our 30 yr average here though, give me 1 more storm!

What’s our med/long range looking like? Been wide open at work all day , haven’t got to look at anything much

A bit up in the air. Ensembles went warmer today long range but they have been flip flopping. Also the TPV looks like a full split is coming so that could lead to wild swings later in February. Next week is still somewhat interesting.

I can’t believe I just used a leaf blower to get 6 inches of snow off my driveway in the south.

I used a blower some too.  My neighbor was doing it; so I figured I would try it.  First time for everything I guess.  Really worked well on the vehicles parked outside.

Still pouring snow here, temp is down 16.2, didn't take a measurement, but we have to be closing in on 10"+ at this point in places.

You were in a great spot evening to get these bands rotating through.

Surreal outside. Just got in from a jebwalk and my 6ish" feels like a foot or more in the yard with all the drifting. We live on a hill and the wind is cranking.

Down to light flurries now. Nineteen consecutive hours of fluffy snow! Amazing! I'm calling it at 7.5 inches. It was likely more, as I didn't clean off a fresh board to measure without compaction, but just "WOW"! I have absolutely loved this day. What a treat!

Psalm 147 comes to mind, particularly verses 16-18.

Great storm here in RC. Best storm by far since January 22. I measured 6-7 inches in most level places but got some 8 to 10 inch measurements in some drifts. Man, when do you have a storm around here and not have to worry about a warm nose and temperatures. Old man winter brought the motherlode of cold with this one. Such a great storm. Always so sad to me when they end because around here you never know when your next chance will be. I give it a solid A.
