Don't get me wrong, the warm temperatures are great, but we have like 8 months of almost 0 chance for meaningful snow, so if a realistic threat window for 6 plus is legit Im all in.

18z GFS was a clown run for January standards let alone mid March.

So much for “beware the ides of March”. Fairly dry stretch seeming to settle in with a few temp swings but nothing crazy.

weather.gov posted their meteo winter summary yesterday. Officially ended with ~44in. Better than any other winter in recent memory imo.

Snow will count for this winter through June (if it were actually able to snow in June). It will be the best since ‘21-‘22, and possibly ‘20-‘21.

Was nice to see a major storm and some long term snow pack. Better than stat padding snows.

We’ve had a couple historically scarce winters this decade, but so far 3 out of the 6 will crack 45” for the season.
