Im exaggerating lol. Im 34 and in good shape. I just had to shovel my neighbors as well. Appreciate the concern though. Im done for the night.

I’m a little skeptical based on the radar right now, but I’ll hope that there is something left. As soon as it’s done here, I’m going to go out and get a final measure. Hoping it’s over 12

Forecast discussion says the NWS obs at 7pm was 10.7”. We tried.

Crazy… I think with that last batch they might have got to 11. But I would have thought 12 was their total for sure

It really doesn't.  I have always wondered if they under did their measurements, simply because everywhere else in the county always seems to be more.

There's no way they only picked up a half inch these last two hours lol. They never really hit a lull. It filled in over them. That combined with them somehow only receiving .4 after reporting half a mile visibility for two hours. It's not a big deal in reality but still very confusing lol

Take this to banter. There was nothing to “try” except your made up  “not in 30 years” “calendar day” thing. Most areas near downtown got 12-13”. The north hills got slammed with more. I’m shoveling 15”.  Even with the lower airport total it’s the 20th snowiest calendar day ever, if one cares about calendar days. If they would have reported more, there just would have been another “haven’t had this in a calendar day in xx years”

They should have sent whoever measured 14" in Monessen at 3pm up there to measure. They would have hit 20" at KPIT .

There are places 20 miles north of the airport in Beaver county that got 18”. If a band or two shifted, it doesn’t change what the storm was.

I was just hoping to get an official 12" storm for the first time since 2010. A minor thing since the majority of us did still get there but it is what it is.
