It's fairly intuitive but go to my attachments in the dropdown under your username in the top right, then you can sort by size, and it shows you the thread it is posted in, so you can decide if it's like 2 years ago if it's worth keeping it.

I went back to 2012. Had some huge DGEX runs in there. :)  It got really dark here and now near white out. Looks like from Canonsburg east towards Bethel and South Park in a good spot today. At least where I am in Bethel right near border. Looks like more in land not as good.

Dang, that's crazy! You're making out good! Can't beat heavy snow with temps in the teens!

It's been pretty quiet here at work in the West Mifflin area for the most part.

There is definitely a nice band in western central Allegheny County right now.

I grew up in West Mifflin. Over by the Community College. That's a far drive for you.

I don't mind all the little clippers, but I'd love to get some juiced up southern wave attack a cold dome of arctic air.

Agreed. I wanna see something more notable. I got into this hobby back 2010 because of Snowmageddon. I know that 20+ storms are extremely extremely rare but Id love to be able to track a top 10 storm soon.

It looked like the GFS at 18z was going to bring back that insane storm. That period is still looking like it could produce.

Speaking of 2010, was that the storm where someone posted a sign on here and we got the storm? Maybe pull that out now... :)

Yes! I think that was North Pgh with the detour sign.

As beautiful as that run was the other night, that 6z run has fully erased that x10. Back to back WTOD. We may need to pull it out after that. Worst nightmare for us. Update on 12z. Looks like case case of suppression by all the early 12z.  No big storm but also no risk of WTOD.

Two days after making us ground zero for the fantasy snow blitz, the GFS has decided to make us the screw zone of all screw zones. To be clear, 8" over 16 days isn't horrible, but it would be pretty awful if everybody else in the northeastern US got 2 feet +.

This map looks to be very consistent with the latest short term models. I don't see any that could point to this being an over performer at this point.  So 2in looks to be the max.  Update after RDPS run which gives most of us 3in. and CMC has 4 in. I'm riding that.. :)

I just pulled up radar and no short term models are showing any of this snow right now. It checked reports and New Castle and Evans City are showing snow so its not viga. I looked at where are snow later is coming from and no models look like the current radar depiction there either. Surprises in store? @Rd9108Hrrr can't even get current hour correct, how in the hey are they going to be correct at hour 42...  :)

With the cold air in place and westerly flow the next 2 weeks have potential. The GFS has 3 storms totaling about 13 inches total. The Canadian has 2 storms totaling about 8. I’ll need to check out the Euro. I’ll settle for on 6-8 ordeal but if we have a foot on the ground end of month it would be grand. We are long overdue for a big one. Fingers crossed. I’ll take a nice weekend storm of about 15 inches like we had back in the early 2000s when I believe it was Wright Weather and it was always crashing. I’m much older now but smart enough to know it’s going to happen again we just don’t know when. Any way as Jackie Gleason would say “And Away We Go! “

That winter of 02-03 was when I first really starting enjoying weather. Then that President's day storm hit and it was a wrap. I can still remember watching TWC as they were showing the wave entering the Pac NW. I was in 9th grade then and am now 38 and have seen one 12" storm since lol. What can ya do but keep hoping.
