NAM 3K isn't a bad look for some bonus snow.

Should be some really pretty wet/sticky stuff on top of that.

Then NWFS on Friday night. If the snow lingers past midnight there's a chance we could have frozen precip every single day this week except this coming Sunday.

Yeah true and it looks like the northern mountains will cash in the most from this upcoming flow snow.

It's warmed up to 53 this afternoon and the snow melt at the Valley floor is almost done. Looks like the surface low has developed in NE Georgia, so a couple of low topped thunderstorms are likely as Buckethead just posted. It looks like a dusting to an inch this evening into early Thursday morning for most of us in the Mountains with higher totals in the Northern Mountains.

Flakes were huge, but it has switched to rain in Boone, at least for the moment.

The Clipper system for Friday and Saturday looks pretty legit. Both GFS and Euro have North of I-40 getting accumulation. The NAM 3km went crazy. A more northern stream looks to favor my house with NWF. I do terrible in typical northwest flow, but when it ticks a bit more northerly the big flakes seem to flow in. Always one of the fun things about moving here in WNC is seeing how you do with different types of Northwest flow!

Definitely looking like an Advisory level event for tomorrow afternoon into Saturday. GSP mentioned in their morning AFD that it is very possible they'll issue a WWA either this afternoon or tomorrow morning.

My driveway is a sheet of ice this morning. Not sure we can keep our Vet appointment later this morning.
