The 12z euro is a bit of everything. Goes from heavy snow to heavy sleet to freezing rain back to snow... Pretty much a mess.sn10_acc-imp.us_ma.jpg

The euro AI was a little colder and farther south. It definitely gets warmer between 700-and 850 on both euro models

Can I hide here with the normal people without wild mood swings

I am waiting for someone over there to say "sun angle"

I get we're all snow starved but yeah, need to have a level head about it all. And not jump model to model. It is what it is and will be.

Indeed :D I just don’t have the time to babysit someone who knows better. I work 50 hrs a week and drive to Columbia a lot to take care of my Mom who just started hospice. Not to mention that I’m the only green tagger here now  I only want to enjoy this with everyone

Perhaps it's time to ask a couple of folks to help you out during big events?

It's a tough and thankless job that requires a lot of time if you really care. Thank you Michelle for all you do and especially after John passed away.

Thank you Steve, I appreciate you

I’ll admit it’s really tough without him. We made the best team

I've got to say, that was probably the best AFD from GSP I seen since just before Helene. Obviously this is an all of Government event from the local, County, State and Federal. Every meteorological asset we have is being thrown at this upcoming event. I expect some big changes ahead the next coming days in regards to modeling with the RECON data being assimilated.

If this comes to fruition the majority of the Carolinas will have more snow on the season than most of the intermountain West towns and cities outside of the highest elevations. GSP and Charlotte having more than Denver, Bozeman, etc. is wild.  I think here in Billings we are sitting around 25” (thanks To that one 12” storm and a 7” one) which is more than Denver, I think Bozeman too but not sure.
