all models been such crap on this storm

I agree a few days ago man but the last couple days except for one or two random model runs everything was dry or mostly dry on the models, from Petersburg north especially for Richmond itself.

The European model went pretty much dry except for a little bit maybe up to an inch something like that. The normal reliable models were pretty much nothing in RVA. We were just hoping that if you have snow so close by it would have to get here with a northern jog but it doesn't seem like that's coming and actually the models picked up on that.

It was only DT outlandishly, and the national weather service more conservatively that were showing decent snow but the models weren't supporting that the last 48 hours

Until it starts to snow, I'm going to doubtful at anything more than a dusting lol

Yea. I cant  believe we were all fooled by  visions  of  heavy  snow just a few days  ago. I cant wait for this  hideous  pattern to break. 2 storms during the  cold  period and  1 was crap slop and this  one a  bone dry  nothing

A little more of a steady light snow now. It's so damn windy. They are calling for gusts between 60 and 70 mph right along the immediate Shoreline tonight. That's rough.

For the  1st time some  heavier returns are starting to cross the  border. I  may yet  see  3107 flakes

Finally get teeny tiny flakes in Norfolk, near downtown

According to future radar  it should  snow for awhile there. Not a flake  here  10 miles away in south NN

3k NAM seems too dry? It is snowing in spots north of the nc/va line but the model doesn’t depict that at all. It’s also missing stuff in NC as well.

Seems too dry based  on radar.

3k and hrrr have done terrible for my yard last 3 runs. I'm over 2" otg and it hasn't stopped snowing since I got up this AM. Had several hours of light/non accum snow between 11am-2pm but it's picked back up the past hour with vis under 1mi.
