Went sky diving in Ontario today over Niagara Falls. Was the best adrenaline rush I've ever had. Would highly recommend it. A calmness went over me as we fell that I didn't expect to have. Even got to control the parachute as we fell and did a couple spins. Good times.

In weather news, it looks quite chilly next week. Possibly some lake effect rain

What a boring line of "storms". Had some thunder and lightning but not much. Winds gusted into the upper 20s which managed to blow a few dead leaves of the trees. Still under .5" of rainfall... Looking forward to the cooler week. Maybe some lake effect rain?

You know fall is coming when Devin finally shows up. ^_^

What a boring stretch of weather. The trend has been warm and dry and it seems like that's not going to change anytime soon besides maybe a shower this weekend. Maybe we will see a change when we actually want it later in October or November. Heard Mike Cejka say on the news this morning that he doesn't think the pattern will change until January...

Pretty sure the tornado warning in cat county was a bingo.  Correlation-coefficient indicated debris and gate to gate rotation was about 60 kt.  We'll see if they find some damage down there.

Wow. Just woke up from a nap didn't even realize there was a chance of tornados today.

Finally time to enjoy some fall like temperatures..

The cold front will usher in a much cooler airmass for the weekend.
Expect high temperatures to be in the mid to upper 60s over the
weekend and to early next week. Overnight low temperatures will be
in the 50s Friday night, but then dropping to the 40s for Saturday
night and Sunday night under continued cold advection and clear to
partly cloudy skies

That's crazy cold...slow down Autumn! With that potential forecast, which teleconnections are changing to allow this major shift of the jetstream southward?
