You guys have to learn not to dry hump that model.

its on me for doing a ****ty job explaining what I was trying to say. They both brought in rounds of off and on showers during the game which seemed to verify, and obv a much drier second half. I actually thought the hires did a good job with the general idea. just got ignore the run to run swings and look for the consitent features that they show.

What I've noticed Jay, is that models tend to overestimate that type of rain in terms of how far west it gets. When rain bends NW like that behind the cold front, it's mainly due to mid level processes as the trough goes negative. Many times, you have drier air working in under the area of precip generation ans it eats up the rain. I've noticed this a lot.
