Lt.sn.,sticking on the roofs, cars, mulch etc., we knew this wasnt going to be that big of of deal though, but any snow in Mid Nov. is a token bonus any way you look around it,especially for Williamson  County as crappy as out last three winters have been

Congrats Jax! Y'all deserve it. Hope this is another good sign for the upcoming winter in middle TN!

Nothing but rain here for now, but MRX has issued a SWS about possible ice on the roadways tonight in the higher elevations along with the chance of a little snow accumulation:

...ARCTIC AIR INVADING THE AREA TODAY AND TONIGHT...

A SURGE OF ARCTIC AIR WILL PUSH INTO THE AREA TODAY AND TONIGHT.

RAIN WILL DIMINISH TODAY...BUT SOME OF THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS WILL

SEE THE RAIN MIX WITH AND CHANGE TO SNOW SHOWERS LATER TODAY...WITH

SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS CONTINUING INTO TONIGHT IN THE MOUNTAINS AND

SNOW FLURRIES POSSIBLE IN THE VALLEYS. IN ADDITION...AS THE COLD

AIR COMES IN OVER THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS TODAY THERE COULD BE SOME

ICE FORM ON WET ROADWAYS. WHILE ANY SNOW ACCUMULATION OVER THE

HIGHER ELEVATIONS ARE GENERALLY EXPECTED TO BE AN INCH OR

LESS...SOME ROADS MAY BECOME HAZARDOUS IN THESE AREAS SO CAUTION IS

ADVISED. IN ADDITION...THE COLD AIR AND WINDS TONIGHT WILL COMBINE

TO BRING WIND CHILL VALUES AS LOW AS 5 BELOW TO 10 ABOVE ZERO AT

TIMES IN THE HIGHER ELEVATION AREAS.

Hey guys, hope everyone is doing well. Gosh is this November? I'm getting a few sleet pellets mixing in with the drizzle/light rain right now, temp is 36. Down from the 48 earlier this morning. More importantly, this is the third time in this month that we have had some form of frozen precip. Never amounting to much, but then again it is November, and only the middle of it at that.

Have a surprise dusting here at the house this morning. Everything is white, including the road. Didn't see that coming. I did notice tht MRX had upped the snow wording about 9:50 or so last night, but I didn't think much about it. Oh well, it is very cool to see it this morning

Yeah the stout dusting in Knoxville is nice.  My drive to work suggested that some areas might have pushed a quarter inch or so.  Roads were covered and in some places it hadn't melted even from traffic congestion.  Ground temps not a problem for this one.  That was snowfall #3 for November, can we make 4?
